Radio operators are the link between operations management, inspectors and agents in the field. They coordinate interventions, remotely supervise security arrangements and record all important communications.
In a major incident (suspicious gathering, unrest, fire, medical emergency, evacuation) they immediately alert state services: police, gendarmerie, fire brigade and medical rescue.
